Jacob Gutierrez was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Practice, focusing on Landscape Architecture. His projects emphasize turf-grass management, sustainable design practices, and the use of digital tools in landscape planning. Having grown up in a construction-oriented family, he developed a solid foundation in building and problem-solving, which he now applies to both creative and technical design challenges. He is skilled in Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, and Adobe software, utilizing these tools to create landscape concepts, stormwater management solutions, and detailed visual drafts for both residential and agricultural environments.
Jacob possesses practical experience in turf and field maintenance gained through his groundskeeping role with Minor League Baseball, during which he enhanced his skills in large-scale landscape management. He is dedicated to developing designs that blend functionality, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal, aiming to create landscapes that benefit both communities and the environment.
